Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University in 1994, graduating magna cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law in 1997, graduating magna cum laude and after serving as a member of the Campbell Law Review. While in law school, Jennifer was a William Taylor Academic Scholar and she worked as an intern for Justice Henry Frye of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Jennifer began her legal career in Durham, North Carolina where she actively litigated personal injury and products liability cases. She joined our firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2007. With extensive experience trying cases in District and Superior Courts across North Carolina, she primarily divides her time and practice between professional liability, including medical malpractice, and personal injury defense work. In addition to being licensed to practice in all of the state courts of North Carolina, she is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
