Kate received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2000 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina in 2003. While in college, she interned with the Philadelphia District Attorney's office and a criminal defense firm, followed by an internship with Legal Services of North Carolina during law school. She was also active in the Trial Advocacy Program and the Holderness Moot Court, serving on the International Law Team from 2001 to her graduation in 2003.
Kate joined our firm in September 2003. She divides her practice between workers' compensation, general civil defense litigation, and professional liability, including medical malpractice and real estate professional defense. She is also proficient in Spanish.
