She received her Juris Doctor degree, with a concentration in Litigation, from the Elon University School of Law in May 2009. Rebecca is currently a Brother in the Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity and the Beta Delta Chapter of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity.

While attending law school, Rebecca led a research team that assisted the faculty in the development of a new course in North Carolina Workers' Compensation Law and also held part-time internships with a firm which focused its practice in Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation. She was co-creator and secretary of the Innocence Project, a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating those wrongfully convicted of crimes, and a member of the Women's Law Association. Rebecca volunteers for the Wake County Bar Association Young Lawyers' Division Clothing Drive.

Rebecca began her career as an Associate with a Criminal Law Firm in Alamance County, which afforded her the opportunity to appear in court on a daily basis and further develop her litigation skills. She joined our firm in April 2010 and is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, NC Association of Defense Attorneys, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Wake County Bar Association.
