Edward graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Spanish. He received his Juris Doctor degree with cum laude distinction from Campbell University School of Law in 2004.
While in law school, Edward was a member of various national mock trial and moot court teams. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a nationally recognized courtroom advocacy society, and he continues to assist law students with courtroom advocacy techniques. He was also named to the National Dean's and Chancellor's Lists and was a member of Phi Kappa Pi national honor fraternity.
Since joining our firm in 2004, Edward has handled a wide variety of general civil litigation matters and maintains an active appellate practice. He devotes most of his time to representing and defending clients in workers' compensation claims, employment and labor disputes, commercial trucking and transportation litigation, and general tort liability. Edward is also a frequent lecturer who enjoys speaking to insurance and industry clients on a number of continuing education topics.
Edward is a member of the Defense Research Institute, North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and Wake County Bar Association. He is also licensed to appear in all of the State and Federal civil trial and appellate courts in North Carolina.
