Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Speech Communications. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University in 1998. While in law school, Chris was a Case Summary Editor for the Campbell Law Observer and president of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Chris joined the firm in March 2003 with five years' experience in civil litigation, and became a partner in January 2010. Since joining the firm, he has continued to focus his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis on professional malpractice, personal injury, construction defects, property and fire loss, and insurance coverage issues.

Chris is a member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and Wake County Bar Association. He is licensed to appear in all of our state courts and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina. In 2010 Chris moved to Asheville, North Carolina to become part of the firm's Asheville office.
