Brian graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina in 2006, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. Subsequently, he earned his Juris Doctor from the Campbell University School of Law in 2010, graduating cum laude.

While in law school, Brian served as both a staff writer and the Chief Comments Editor of the Campbell Law Review. Additionally, he worked as a Research Associate to Professor Richard A. Lord in assembling his treatise, the Fourth Edition of Williston on Contracts, and as a Contracts Teaching Assistant. He also was a member of Campbell's Moot Court board, the Old Kivett Advocacy Council.

Brian is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Wake County Bar Association, and is licensed to practice in the Eastern Federal District Court in North Carolina.

Brian joined the firm in the fall of 2010.
